My name is Steven and I specialize in tutoring accounting, economics, and math. I have a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from California State University, Fullerton. I have served in the US Navy for 6 years, and I currently am employed at Lockheed Martin Corporation. I am currently studying for the CPA exam, so I feel that I have enough knowledge about the subject matter.
My approach to tutoring is a combination of lecture and answering questions. When I first meet with you I will discuss your the problems you are having learning the course, and then I will work on a learning plan so that you will have a focused learning experience. I feel that when a learning plan is developed the student maximize their study time as well. I will also try to build your self confidence and motivation about the subject, which will help you on exams.
