I am a USC graduate with almost 10 years of tutoring experience. I am well-versed in a variety of math and science subjects, including PreAlgebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, SAT 1, SAT II Math Level 1 and 2, ACT (all parts), Physics, and Computer Science. I enjoy inspiring students in all walks of life, from elementary students to college students, and even adults who want to excel and learn more.
I am a hardworking and passionate tutor who believes in Truth and an indomitable Will and work Work Ethic. I truly believe that each and every one of us has a destiny of excellence, but sometimes we get in our own way. I live off of inspiring people to be greater and strive for that. Greatness is not some esoteric idea. Like Aristotle said, "Excellence is not an act, but a habit." Expecting excellence from my students is how they succeed and in turn, they expect excellence from me. We all can synergistically allow ourselves to push the human condition forward.
Through tutoring, I have learned how to cater to the individual. There are many ways to come to the same conclusion, and I know that every single person is different. Therefore I adapt to my students to discover what is best teaching method for him and/or her. For example, I give my students customized quizzes to help them prepare for exams. Not everyone learns the same way, so how can everyone be taught the same way? I am adamant about students realizing not only their academic potential, but their life potential as well.
I am confident that my passion and experience are the qualities you are looking for in a tutor. I look forward to achieving greatness with all of you .

Very patient. He tutors my daughter and her friend together. When one does not understand, Daniel is able to approach the problem from a different angle until both understand. This also permits both to learn how to solve a problem in numerous different ways. Daniel really knows math and is an excellent tutor.
Daniel is a patient tutor who has really been of great assistance to my son in understanding the concepts of Algebra 2. My son has gained more confidence in his test-taking and overall comprehension -- this tutoring has been a great investment for us in helping our son finish his 11th grade year and we will definitely need his services in his senior year.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have developed a customized lesson plan using an ACT test prep book on the market. The course would take between 20-24 hours to complete, but will undoubtedly cover all topics on the exam as well as test taking strategies.
