Warm, Engaging, Knowledgeable English and Reading Tutor

I've always said I get more from tutoring than my students get from learning. That's still true today. For me, the process of relating to a student--of any age--is so personally fulfilling, it's nearly selfish.

I have years of experience as an elementary school reading tutor. I am also a published features writer and advertorial writer (for the Ventura County Star newspaper). Recently, I began grading college-level essays for an English professor at Los Angeles Valley College.

I work best one-on-one, but have proven success tutoring groups, as well. And I love it all!
