I am a 21-year-old student who has taken classes at UC Berkeley, UCSD, and Mira Costa College. I am planning on getting my bachelor's in Psychology in the next year and a half. I have spent 6 summers working at summer camps, through which I have developed great communication skills with children of all ages. I currently work as a Youth Group Advisor at a local synagogue, where I hear many stories of the challenges that school brings every single day. My goal is to make those challenges easier.
I have developed a knack of being able to explain hard concepts easily to others. My approach with tutoring is to be as open as possible with particular frustrations. Tackling a big problem can be both overwhelming and disconcerting, but just like eating, we need to take small bites! By addressing each individual problem, my aim to teach a mastery of the material by showing patterns and reoccurring themes in the subject.
