Hello, Thank you for reading my post! After a rewarding career in public education, it is time to focus on individuals who love to learn, or who need support! My education and experience include a CA multiple subject credential (K-6), music, psychology and social studies credentials and certificates in ESL and GATE education. My MA is in Educational Administration. Although my goal is to teach private piano and group music lessons, I am happy to discuss how I can help your child strengthen his/her skills and motivation for success.

In addition to being the mock trial coach at the high school level, I was a home-hospital teacher after school, tutoring students who were unable to attend classes. As a music teacher for 20 years, I know how to bring out the best in children in a non-threatening and pleasant way. Teaching high school for a decade gave me the opportunity to work with reluctant students, college prep students, Special Needs students, ESL students and with GATE students! I also felt honored when my district asked me to be an interim elementary school principal.
