I currently teach middle school science in San Francisco. I attended UC Berkeley, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. A native of San Francisco, I prepared to teach in the San Francisco Teacher Residency program at USF. I am passionate about working with students in San Francisco and making education a priority for the families I serve.

Prior to discovering my vocation as a teacher, I worked for the St. Anthony Foundation in the free medical clinic, helping monolingual Spanish speaking families obtain affordable health care. I student taught at James Lick Middle School in Noe Valley and previously taught 8th grade math and science at International Studies Academy in Potrero Hill.

My educational philosophies are influenced by the belief that all students can succeed and learn best by engaging in hands-on lessons. Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar and writing music.
