I graduated with Honors from high school, where I had a 4.105 GPA and was ranked 33 out of 565 graduating students. In high school, I passed both English AP exams and scored 1340 on the SAT, out of 1600, and 34 on the ACT, out of 36. I was involved in journalism, photography, French club, dance, track and field, and various volunteer-oriented clubs.
I went to SDSU where I studied astrophysics. I received my Bachelor's degree in Astronomy with a minor in Mathematics. I tested out of SDSU's upper division English requirements with a perfect score on the upper division writing exam and passed the Grammar, Spelling, Punctuation exam. At SDSU, I was Editor and Assistant Editor of Photography for the school newspaper, The Daily Aztec, as well as President of the Astronomy and Physics clubs and Secretary for the College of Sciences Student Council. During my time at SDSU, I worked at an after school science enrichment program, The Elementary Institute of Science, where I taught science in a hands-on way to 7-13 year-olds.
I recently went back to school and obtained an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies from Cuyamaca College, where I received a 4.0 in all the coursework I completed there. I was President of the Cuyamaca Association of Paralegal Students and initiated the Association's newsletter.
I have a young son who I am working on the basics with, such as letters, numbers, phonics, reading, addition, and subtraction.
