I have experience teaching chemistry. I can assist the student in identifying important concepts by clarifying material in the text and lecture. I believe that the chemistry student's understanding of the subject matter will be insufficient in the absence of extensive problem solving. I have experience identifying the types of questions students will typically encounter on chemistry tests, in lecture and laboratory sections, based upon the subject matter, and can therefore help improve exam performance by helping the student create timed, practice exams to use during study sessions as exam time approaches. I have an interest in facilitating the learning process to see students realize their true potential.
