I tutored for 3.5 years while at college. I entered as a freshman and tutored that spring semester, teaching the senior Med students physics for their MCAT exams. I learned so much about how to teach not only for students below me but also above me. It was a unique experience that I learned how much I love teaching.
My philosophy of teaching is to basically run myself out of a job. My goal is to tutor any individual to the point where I am no longer needed and for the student to fully understand and adapt to the topic or academic field.
I will adapt to the student's passion as well. Usually students need help in the areas that are lacking, or more difficult to understand. I will only push an individual when they are confident and comfortable when the student understands the material thoroughly. I want every individual that I work with to be empowered and rise above average. This of course comes with hard work and discipline.
Grew up in a family restaurant business, I have been working since I could walk.
Graduated Westmont College which is a private Christian undergraduate school in Santa Barbara, California
I received degrees in Chemistry and Physics in four years. I have worked in industries for the past 4.5 years. (lasers, cement research, manufacturing, and leadership)
