Hello Future Student,

My name is Karen, and I have been teaching at the college level since 1998. I came to the wonderful world of English study when I attended undergraduate college at Cal Poly Pomona. My heart had always been rooted in literature and critical analysis, but I also came to love grammar and research writing. After graduation, I continued my education by earning a Master's degree in English Literature in 2 semesters. Of course, my love for words moved me into the legal word, and I attended Howard University School of Law, with a variety of interests.

I have tutored junior high and high school students for the past 3 years. I use humor to reinforce the rules of grammar and lively discussion to help interpret the meanings of classical and traditional literature. I believe that all learning should be based in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
