I am a civil engineer graduate, and doing math comes second nature to me. However, this wasn't always the case. I understand that math can be boring to many, and I was no exception. Helping others understand WHY we do math, rather than only helping them solve problems is what I specialize in.
My teaching methods include, but are not limited to, helping students understand concepts rather than only learning how to solve problems, and helping students polish the basics to ease the transition into more advanced math.
I have been a home tutor for 3 years and have helped high school students raise their letter grades from "F's or C's" to "B's and A's" or simply stay on top of their class.
