I have over 6 years of experience tutoring and teaching ages of students from 7 to 24 years old. Experience tutoring subjects ranging from basic Arithmetic, Reading Comprehension, United States History and Government; Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus.
I possess a solid knowledge of math and science as I entered college as a Civil Engineer major, but found my passion in the liberal arts, especially in History.
My tutoring approach is not to simply help your student get the correct answer to a question on a test or homework assignment, but to help your student understand the concepts and steps behind finding the solution for a total understanding of the material. This teaching style shapes how your student approaches learning in the classroom; that when they approach learning with this mindset, they absorb the concepts and a deeper understanding of the material presented by their teachers.
