Dear Students,

I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Currently I am enrolled in an MA/ED program. I have been teaching junior high and high school students as well as college and business students for 8 years. I am knowledgeable not only in the language but also a variety of traditional arts such as calligraphy, flower arrangement, tea ceremony, and kimonos. As a Japanese, anime and comics are my favorite items as well. In Japan, anime and manga are not only for young people. Adults enjoy them as well since they are not always heroes. Japanese anime and manga have love stories, serious stories, fantasies, and historical stories. I can incorporate various Japanese elements into the study and make learning Japanese a lot of fun.

My cooking lessons include everyday Japanese dishes, special Japanese dishes, and vegetarian dishes. Special dishes are SUKIYAKI, TENPURA, SHABUSHABU, and SUSHI. Vegetarian dishes includes a variety of TOFU and TSUKEMONO.
