Hi, I am a highly resourceful certified Library Technician who assists students on the side. As a lifelong learner, I've read over 10k academic related books and have completed over 100 college courses. I also possess a deep knowledge and insight concerning schools, programs, internships, and jobs as well if you are interested.
My degrees and areas of specialty are Environmental Science, photography, film/TV production, and IT. In the Environmental Sciences, I can assist students with any of the Geography, Geology, Oceanography and Astronomy courses. I teach and tutor students who hopefully have a love of learning and are interested in these subjects. For advanced Environmental students I can assist with the more technical areas: GIS, GPS, CAD, Cartography, Photogrammetry, and Remote Sensing.
I currently reside in Silicon Valley and have interned or worked for NASA, Google, Stanford, USGS, and ILM. My love of the imagery of the earth and space inspired me to study Photography and Film/TV Production with a minor in Museum Studies. I know about the history, business, art, and technology of analog and digital photography, animation, music production, film production, and broadcast engineering. I thought I'd put that out there in case anyone was interested. I've advised many students and parents on where the good classes, schools, and jobs are at.
My strong Liberal Arts background allows me to tutor many of the GE requirements in order to help you succeed. I can assist you in speech, history, philosophy, economics, political science, and psychology etc. I enjoy tutoring these subjects but only on the condition that you are serious enough to sincerely want to learn these subjects.
