I am currently a sophomore in college working on my bachelor's degree in Psychology. In high school I was a part of the School of Advanced Studies program where I took four years of Spanish (and tested out of the first two courses in college), a total of five AP classes, and graduated with a GPA higher than a 3.5.

During my freshmen year of college, I worked at a local elementary school for about 10 hours a week. I worked one-on-one with international students to teach them English, I worked with a class of 1st grade students, and helped as needed in a class of 3rd grade students. The staff has asked me to return the following school year and work with their students.

My tutoring methods are always different because everyone learns in different ways. I usually get an idea of what the student is like, how they prefer to study, and we work our way through. I am open to new ideas and methods, so if a student has a preferred way of studying, I can adjust to that. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns. I hope to hear from you soon!

Elementary (K-6th)

I just completed my first year as a student tutor at an elementary school in Costa Mesa. I worked with a class of 1st graders and a class of 3rd graders for about 10 hours a week. I also worked one on one with international students who were learning to speak English. The faculty members have requested that I return for the following school year.

Elementary Math

I just completed my first year working as a student tutor at a local elementary school in Orange County. I worked with 1st and 3rd grade students in all areas, but more so with the 3rd graders in the area of mathematics. I worked one on one with the students to help them understand the concepts being taught.

Microsoft PowerPoint

I took a semester of Microsoft PowerPoint in which I learned how to use all areas of PowerPoint (including adding pictures, animations, transitions, etc...), took practice tests on what I learned, and ended the class by making a PowerPoint and presenting it to the class. I received an A in the class as well as a certificate for evidence.

I am currently a sophomore in college working towards a BA degree in psychology. I have taken general psychology, developmental psychology, research writing for psychology majors, and I will be taking abnormal psychology this upcoming fall. I received an A- or above in all of the classes.

I am currently a sophomore in college, but I took 4 years of Spanish while I was in high school. This included taking Spanish 1 all the way to AP Spanish. Once I got to the end of my freshmen year in college, I decided I wanted to continue in my pursuit of learning the language. I took a 100 question entrance exam, in which I only got 4 wrong and which allowed me to test out of Beginners Spanish 1 and 2. This upcoming fall I will begin my Intermediate Spanish class and continue learning the language.

I have taken years and years of honors courses in English and so far in college I have taken Persuasive Writing and Research Writing, both in which I received a grade of an A. I am available to help with grammar and structure. In regards with research, I am available to help with research papers, Literature Reviews and APA formatting.
