On January 2000, I enrolled at a California community college and started my undergraduate courses with a major in Spanish. At the same time I worked part time at the EOPS office as a tutor and a recruiter for the care program. Also, I did voluntary work at my daughter’s schools. While I worked as a tutor my best reward was the advance that my students acquired in their courses after I helped them. On May 2002, I obtained my AA degree with honors, and then I transferred on September of the same year to UCI where I obtained my BA degree with Spanish honors and cum laude in March of 2006. In May of that same year, I started working on my MFT Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University, where I graduated in August, 2010. I have been constant, responsible, dedicated and compliant.
I enjoy tutoring because I like to help young people to be able to understand the parts that are difficult in any course. I had been a student myself for the past ten years and I know what a student in need of tutoring goes through.
