I have taught and tutored middle and high school students, as well as college students. I utilize a “knowledge and skill” based tutoring where concepts are simplified and clarified, and execution is improved through repetitions, i.e., “batting practice”. My tutoring strategies are designed to fit the individual student whether struggling for a passing grade or striving for mastery of the subject. I have the ability to explain abstract concepts simplistically and in multiple ways, and the patience for repetitions.

I have taught and tutored curricula for California public schools, International Baccalaureate degrees, parochial schools, and home schooling. I have a Master's degree in Engineering with highest honors from the University of California and 20 years of industry, teaching and tutoring experience. I am a registered nuclear engineer with the State of California.

I have tutored many students from Redwood and Tam high schools.
