I recently completed my Master's degree in Art History, finishing with a 4.0. I have a strong background in the art historical canon and an emphasis on the early modern period and American Art. I have experience in just about every major art historical era, including pre-historic works, Classical Greece and the Roman Empire, the Reformation period, the Italian Renaissance, Gothic architecture, American painting, European avant-garde developments, and early contemporary art in America. This extensive training in the history of art has also informed my studies of world and European history.
My undergraduate degree was in French Language and Culture, and I spent a year in Paris studying the language further. I am therefore able to help students who are new to the language improve their vocabulary, grammar, reading and listening comprehension, and accent.
I have extensive coursework in English and Literature, and have read and am familiar with the literary canon that most schools use as their reading lists.
While I am not a certified teacher, I was a tutor for the Athletics department of my university, and so have experience in the field.
I am happy to provide my resume or writing samples to those who are interested in working with me. Thanks!
