As a Naval Academy graduate, I have experience with a high end education in both engineering and social sciences. I have had four years of demanding coursework ranging from Electrical Engineering to the History of the Middle East. In those four years I worked hands on with younger students through study groups and teaching coursework that I had learned previously. I am a great communicator, patient, and prefer to tutor one on one. This allows the student to focus on the material at hand. To maximize the student's retention, I require to have breaks every 45 minutes to let the student refresh and energize their minds and come back to the material at hand.
Currently, I am working with younger children in 2nd & 3rd grade enhancing reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills. I am seeing great results and would love to help your child!
In addition to my education, at this time I am also working on my Masters in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.
