When I began my newspaper career in 1978, I was banging out stories on a manual typewriter. When I left the Contra Costa Times in 2012, I was building newspaper pages on my computer screen. I learned a great deal during my time, and I am more than happy for an opportunity to share that knowledge with others.
I am proficient in InDesign and Quark page design programs, as well as PhotoShop, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook. I enjoy showing others how to do things, because I am grateful that others took the time to share their knowledge with me.
