Salve!
I am an Italian instructor for over five years and have taught students of all ages. I have my BA and MA degrees in Italian language and literature. I lived in Florence for two years, where I studied and worked, later coming home to continue to work for a US branch of an Italian company.
Since being back in the US, I have completed my Master's degree and teaching credential for grades K-12. I have, most recently, been teaching at the high school and university levels. I have a keen understanding of learning Italian as a second language and am most thrilled to have been able to reestablish relationships with my relatives in Italy, which has been invaluable to my family.
My family is genovese, so they are from the Genova area. In addition to living in Florence, I have traveled throughout Italy and western Europe, both with school programs and alone.
In my personal life, I am a new mom and have been enjoying teaching my daughter the Italian language, which will continue to enrich her life as it has mine.
