Would you rather take a long walk off a short pier than speak in front of other people? Does stage fright take over your body when you're told you have to give a talk or presentation? Then contact Mark today to discover how to speak in front of others with confidence and style... without the shake and the sweats. Whether you need to give a speech at school, a presentation at work, or a full-blown keynote to an audience of thousands, give Mark a call.
Mark is no stranger to the stage, having earned his Competent Communicator and Competent Leader designations with Toastmasters International. He has spoken to Rotary, Kiwanis, Toastmaster, and various other groups of all sizes. Mark was president of the Akron (Ohio) Advanced Toastmasters Club and since moving to California, is a member of the Toastmasters Articulators Club in Roseville, California. He is also a member of the Sacramento Speakers Network.
In addition to public speaking, Mark did some time as a stand-up comedian, trying to make people laugh at the Funny Stop Comedy Club, Bogey’s Comedy Club, The Hermit Club, and the Cleveland Improv Comedy Showcase. He also dabbled with improvisational comedy, taking classes and performing with the Cleveland-area improv group, Friends with Benefits.
As an instructor, Mark walks his students through the steps that will make any speech or presentation a hit. You'll learn how to organize a speech for maximum impact, how to use vocal variety and gestures to get your points across, and how to connect with your audience so they'll hang on your every word.
After working with Mark, students will come away with confidence that speaking is a skill just like any other. A skill they can learn, use, and succeed with.
