Dear Potential Student:
As long as I can remember, I have always been involved in education and counseling. Throughout my own education experience, I have tutored fellow grade school and high school students and have been a Teacher Assistant for the Education Department at the undergraduate level. Between college years, I spent my summers as a Camp Counselor working with campers ages 5-17. After graduating from college, I have taught specialized reading and math to students at various developmental levels and general elementary education in the public school system. My recent teacher experience include teaching GED preparation to students at all levels in the subjects of Math, Science, History, Language Arts-Reading, and Language Arts-Writing. In addition, I was recently a coach/manager to career counselors who work one-on-one with those students contemplating a career path. I have been and still is the unofficial tutor for my own friends who are studying for various standardized tests especially in the area of Math.
I am most passionate about you as the student understanding the concepts and feeling competent in any area of difficulty or significant challenge. I love Math, History, and Writing and work diligently to simplify those concepts for students. I have both great patience and accountability in helping you reach your short-term and long-term goals.
I would love the opportunity to work with you. Please feel free to contact me.
