I am a native Spanish speaker. I speak Spanish on a daily basis. My written and spoken Spanish skills are excellent. I know all the orthography rules in Spanish (the accents). I've tutored children, I've always translated works for teachers, (such as paragraphs, and words-definitions). Similarly, I am fluent in Italian (I took it in high school), I have not had any formal tutoring, but I have taught many friends on a weekly basis, therefore I've gained experience in how to approach students with different language background, those with English, Spanish, Italian, or any other language background. In addition, I am fluent in Portuguese, to anyone who has been exposed to any Romance language, Portuguese will be very easy to learn, and even to those who have not, I have my own effective methods. I know French pretty well, I do have an accent when speaking it, but I can teach anyone who has no experience with the language, and also those who have only had a little exposition to it.
I am currently learning Latin and Classical Greek, and in a few months I'll have the fluency and the knowledge to tutor these two languages as well.
I was raised in Mexico, and that is the reason I speak Spanish, which is my dominant language. After living in Mexico I moved to the U.S. and it is here where I attended high school, I attended Bonita Vista High School. I am currently attending UCSD, and I am majoring in classical studies, because I get to learn Classical Greek and Latin, and I am also enrolled in Portuguese.
Ultimately, I practice all the languages that I tutor because I speak Spanish with my family, I speak Italian with a couple of international Italian students, and as I mentioned, I speak Portuguese in my Portuguese class. To my Italian friends, we often translate things into different languages, sometimes we try speaking languages that the other one does not understand just to see how our linguistic abilities are, I also explain to them the grammatical, and pronunciation differences between Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian.
I started playing soccer at the age of four, and I've been playing since then. During high school I played JV and Varsity soccer. I enjoy teaching children how to play soccer, it doesn't matter if they have no experience with the sport, I can teach them the basics. I can coach any age as long as they are willing to learn how to play the most beautiful sport in the world!
