As a well-published author of 7 books on the game of Checkers, I've had extensive educational experience in the Elementary School System with over 1000 presentations ("The Challenging Magic of Checkers") in classrooms, after-school and teachers' seminars to stimulate critical thinking, problem solving, concentration and perseverance. It also builds social skills.
My resume includes teaching reading and writing in the Oasis System. As a Navy Jet Carrier Pilot I have developed leadership capabilities and the self confidence to accomplish many difficult tasks.
My philosophy regarding academic achievement is to encourage students to keep trying and to applaud them as they accomplish goals along the way to clearly defined objectives. One of my motto's in these scholastic endeavors is "Never give up"!!
