Hello, My name is Autumn. I studied Liberal Arts in Washington State. I really enjoyed peer tutoring and I started my own tutoring business in San Diego county almost 10 years ago. I enjoy the one on one interaction that comes with tutoring. I feel that it benefits the student and the tutor. Less time is wasted on mastered subject matter because the student is allowed the answer specific questions and lesson planning can be based on those questions.
I believe that in order for anyone to learn; whether is be a child or adult, learning MUST be fun. I attempt to incorporate fun activities and projects that reinforce the lesson plan.
I chose a field in education because I love imparting knowledge. I love to see my students grasps concepts they have been struggling on and sometimes even develop a passion for passing on that knowledge themselves.
