Hello, my name is Teresa. I have my B.A. degree from the University of California at Irvine in Social Ecology and Mental Health. I just completed my Masters in Human Services last March, so, I am very familiar with APA guidelines, proper grammar, and excellent writing techniques. I have tutored seven college students with English and writing research papers. I have also tutored Algebra 1 in the past.
I have two grown children. My daughter is a college graduate and my son is going to finish his Bachelor's degree at Cal Poly Pomona next spring.
My tutoring style is quite straightforward. I have the patience of a saint and I do not mind having to go over the same type of material more than once. I am not an enabler. I will not write a paper for the student, but will provide much guidance and constructive feedback, and teach proper writing style.
My hobbies are reading, gardening and shelter animal rescue.
