Yes, I am a native French speaker, but being a native is far from enough. Could you teach English to someone who can't speak it? I lived and studied the local language in England, the U.S., Japan, Taiwan and China and taught French and English (High Schools, Universities and privately) while being there. I do, therefore, understand perfectly what it is to be a teacher (over 20 years of experience) and more importantly what it is to be a student having studied and learned 5 languages.
