I have a very strong background in Science and Mathematics. In fact, I had been a teacher's assistant for Calculus while I was still in high school. I got a 5 in the AP exam and breezed through calculus during college.
Also, during my undergraduate studies, I tutored several students in various Sciences. I started in a 7-year combined program for an accelerated Medical Program, but did not go to Medical school as I decided to focus on preventative healthcare. I am still fascinated by the human body and human potential.
Personally, I have developed my interest with 9 years of martial arts training in Taekwondo, and 2 years of training at various Kung Fu schools. I have also been vastly fascinated by yoga, for which, I traveled to India to study and experience the culture. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer and taught group classes as well one-on-one training.
For the last few years I worked for a multinational, Biotechnology Manufacturer, Eppendorf. I repaired/calibrated laboratory instruments to meet GMP/GLP guidelines while adhering to ISO standards. However, I recently moved back home to Parsippany to help my parents as they are becoming increasingly incapacitated with age.
I have a wide array of skills and experiences. I have lived and worked in several places in the United States: New York City, Phoenix, Ann Arbor, San Francisco. I have lived and worked in India as well. I encourage academic competitiveness as well as personal growth in a more broad perspective.
