A new school year has started, old friends are back, and new ones are just around the corner. It's time to jump in and get a head start on all the academic stuff. So if you need to keep up with your class or are simply an overachiever, I can help you better understand chemistry and math. I have strong math and science skills, know the subjects, and can work with you on any high school chemistry or math course. I have an MS in chemistry and many years of practical experience in a chemistry environment. I can help you relate chemistry to the real world and see math as new puzzles and games to play with. I've taught chemistry courses in the past, worked for local tutoring companies, and privately with many high school students and adults making career changes. I can also help with algebra, trig, and precalc for students I tutor in chemistry. I am located at the south end of Carlsbad so please include your location.

Other interests include lots of programming, especially with Visual Basic, and mapping with GIS and open source software.
