I taught middle school Italian (grades 7 and 8) for the last six years when I lived in New York. It was the greatest job ever. During that time, I also provided home instruction and various tutoring situations for all levels of Italian, grades 7-college aged. While I was teaching, I organized three trips to Europe in three consecutive years so my former students could utilize the language they had been studying and experience the culture. Through those wonderful trips, we visited various parts of Italy, Paris, London, Monaco, and Barcelona. I felt so fortunate to bring my students to these places to apply the language they had been learning and visit locations they had only dreamed of seeing.
