I have a PhD in chemistry from UT-Austin (graduated 2010) and a B.S in Biochemistry (graduated 2005) from the University of California Riverside. Since Fall 2011, I have been teaching chemistry classes at De Anza College and Mission College. I also taught organic chemistry as a chemistry lecturer at UT Austin 2010 - 2011. As a graduate student, I worked extensively as a teaching assistant at UT for various chemistry classes including general chemistry, organic chemistry and labs. For the past 6 years I also tutored as often as my schedule allowed for mostly chemistry subjects. I have worked with both high school and college students in the tutor setting. As an undergraduate student, I also tutored entry-level and high school chemistry and math for 3 years. Even when I was middle and high school age, my siblings, cousins and I would play "school" at our house in the summer. I was always the teacher and routinely helped and tutored the younger ones in their elementary school subjects including math drills, reading and writing. I love to teach, and I am looking forward to working with you!
