Hello!
My name is Trish and I am a 22 year old recent graduate of the Berklee College of Music where I double majored in Songwriting and Music Business. My education at Berklee paired with my experience as a regularly gigging musician has given me a thorough and well rounded understanding and perspective of Jazz and Traditional theory, Melodic and Harmonic Ear Training, Sight Singing and Dictation, as well as Music History. I am so passionate about music and love to share this passion with others through teaching and tutoring.
I feel that the most important part of learning theory, ear training and history is practical application. Listening and playing should always be involved! We won't only learn theory on paper but apply it to your instrument. We won't simply learn about the changes in popular music through time but listen to pieces that exemplify these changes. It is of the utmost important that music should always remain fun and interesting and joyful. I look forward to having a ton of fun working with you.
