Hello, and thank you for stopping by my WyzAnt profile. This is where I have an opportunity to bend your ear (or, rather, your eyes) for a few moments to allow you to learn more about me and what I have to offer as a tutor.
Teaching/mentoring/tutoring has been a tradition in my family for several generations. I began tutoring other students when I was a freshman in high school, specifically in English and history, and have continued to do so over the last 16 years. I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999, and have worked with students of all ages in six states.
I take a creative approach to the learning process, and have successfully transformed English and history into subjects that students not only know about, but have become fascinated by - continuing their studies beyond what their teachers require. I prefer to work with students on a one-to-one basis, but I have worked with groups as large as ten in the past with relative ease and successful results.
