I recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a 3.5 GPA. My areas of specialty include all aspects of English in regards to reading, writing, grammar, etc. as well as anthropology and psychology. I am also available for tutoring in the GRE vocabulary and writing sections.
My achievements include working as a tutor for incoming UC Berkeley disadvantaged students through the Student Social Services. I am great with children, especially those who have a hard time concentrating, and I have recently gained acceptance to USC, UCLA, UPenn, Berkeley and UMichigan for graduate school.

In tutoring for studying skills I focus on personalizing the lesson to be tailored to the students particular problem area. Often it is as simple as scheduling which homework assignments should come first based on difficulty as well as due date. Other times it is motivational and I work to create a rewards system to reinforce positive and consistent study habits.
