I graduated last year from Reed College with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and am in the process of applying for a master's degree in education and teaching credential; I plan on becoming a multiple subject elementary school teacher. I love working with children and being a part of their individual learning processes. I have over a decade of child care experience, which has often involved helping out with school work, especially this last year as part of my job as an au pair in France, when I regularly assisted elementary- and middle school-aged children with homework in various subjects. I have also done several years of unpaid tutoring in conjunction with advanced math courses, but am now hoping for more professional experience. I am reliable, punctual, friendly, and try to use creative methods to make learning as fun and interesting as possible.
