As a writer and philosopher, while pursuing my BA in Philosophy at UC Berkeley, I paid graduate students who were not in my class to tutor me. I did so for 3 out of the 4 semesters that I went to UC Berkeley. As a result, my writing is concise and precise. Also, my standard essays also have an easy to follow structure. Each paragraph has a transition leading to the next with the first and last paragraphs to summarize them.
I'm working on my book in logic and reasoning and my blog on the lessons that I learn as a teacher.
I'm currently studying to become an elementary teacher. I will have my teacher's credential in November 2012. I have student taught for kindergarten, 3rd, and 5th grades. I taught lessons daily and managed the behavior of about 20 students per class. I am open to tutoring for middle and high school as well.
Also, it's important to note that for as long as I have been in school, I have never procrastinated. I don't believe in it. That's something that made me stand out from my peers. I like to be as prepared as possible. I'm very persistent when it comes to getting the best grades possible. You can definitely count on me for that.
