I am an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley studying Comparative Literature and French. I recently spent a semester in Bordeaux, France to study French Literature. I specialize in SAT writing, reading, and grammar. (I received a 2300 which included a perfect score on the writing section.) I am also comfortable tutoring in high school math, English, and French.
I struggled with math as a child, but with the help of a wonderful teacher in high school, I was able to receive a 5 on my AP Calculus test. I sincerely believe that with a knowledgeable, patient, and amiable teacher or tutor, students can greatly improve their proficiency for any subject.
I love working with people of all ages (I used to volunteer at a local hospital, work for the mayor of Berkeley, and coach a high school debate team) and I will continue to do so, regardless of where my degree takes me.
