Born and raised in the Bay Area, I was attended Wheaton College in Massachusetts where I double majored in Art History and Italian Studies. After achieving at 3.86 cumulative GPA, working as a departmental tutor for Italian, and being admitted into both Phi Beta Kappa and Gamma Kappa Alpha (the national Italian Honor Society), I enrolled in Middlebury College's immersion-based MA program in Italian Literature. My scholastic journey afforded me the opportunity to live and study in Italy for two years, both as an undergraduate and as a graduate student, and I am confident that my experiences abroad in the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, coupled with my rigorous academic background and my continued success as a tutor (at both the high school and college level), make me uniquely qualified to teach both Art History and Italian passionately and effectively.
