Hello Everyone,

My name is Cory and I could be the ideal tutor for your needs.

I have recently graduated from UC Merced with a Master's degree in Physics and Chemistry and I have plenty experience teaching college-level material. I have taken many courses from general, organic and physical chemistry as well as mathematics courses up through calculus. I believe I have the subject knowledge and teaching experience to help you achieve your scholastic goals.

I have been involved in teaching and tutoring since I was an undergraduate student at CSU Stanislaus and have developed very efficient methods for teaching students difficult concepts. I would describe myself as a visual learner and that is primarily how I teach, using helpful diagrams and techniques to convey the material. Most importantly I enjoy teaching and it gives me immense satisfaction to see a student understand a difficult topic as I teach it to them.

Throughout my graduate school career I perfected methods for teaching complex topics to students with less chemistry and scientific background than others, and I have mastered teaching the laboratory aspect of chemistry as well. With my knowledge of both the academic and hands-on side of chemistry I believe I can help your student succeed in chemistry as well as any science course.
