I first served as a certified English tutor while attending Pasadena City College in 2009. I have helped an array of college students develop scholarly essays and college application essays. All of the students that I helped received grades no lower than B's, and most were accepted into their college of choice. I continued to tutor others and proofread their papers when I transferred to Azusa Pacific University in 2011 because of an enticing speech & debate scholarship offer. While competing for national and regional championships (which I have won quite a few), I continued to tutor classmates and teammates by aiding in research, development, and proofreading of college papers and persuasive speeches. Additionally, I coached my own teammates and voluntarily coached my high school's current in speech delivery until I graduated with honors and earned my bachelor's degree in July 2013.

Currently, I am employed as the head speech instructor at Top Kids where I also teach English composition (with an emphasis on analytics, interpretation, argumentation, and logical reasoning). I also teach formal speech delivery to children from 3rd grade to 12th grade. I assess each student in their writing and speaking skills before developing personalized lesson plans and applying specific speech and writing exercises to further enhance their abilities. Some of these exercises are speed writing and reading, vocabulary expansion, how to gather sufficient evidence, voice projection, posture, and much more.
