I'm Drew. I know I can help you learning mathematics, chemistry, physics, and music.
I am a master's candidate in Mathematics, awaiting my comprehensive exams. I offer tutoring in all levels of middle school, high school, and lower division college mathematics, as well as high school and lower division college physics and chemistry. I also minored in music, and can tutor music theory, trombone, guitar and voice training. I use a variety of approaches, suiting the learning style and needs of each student. I take time to get to know the students I work with, using their outside interests and backgrounds as a means of relating to topical material. The majority of students I tutor are involved in sports, and I use my knowledge of sports to relate subject matter to my students.
I work interactively with my students. I am especially good at working with students who are dyslexic, as I am mildly dyslexic myself, and completely understand how a dyslexic person sees the world.
Specific mathematics subject areas: Algebra I and II, Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus including AP and multi-variable calculus, Infinite Series, Discrete Systems, Numerical Analysis, Probability, General Statistics including AP, and Linear Algebra.
