With the current 4-field approach to anthropological research, I have background and research interests in each of the main sub-fields of anthropology. The sub-disciplinary areas in which I am involved include: Disease epidemiology and culture change; historical disease patterns; the Black Death pandemics and their effect on cultural change; comparative analysis of the black plague and the current AIDs pandemic; disease prehistory; evolution and evolution theories; paleopathology, paleoanthropology, and magic, religion and the supernatural; human osteology; forensic anthropology; psychological anthropology; and the correlation of fear and disease.
I also have several research interests in other areas of anthropology. These include: Egyptology, Intercultural relationships, and Mythology.
I am also a lifelong artist, crafter and sewer. I also have considerable experience with, and can teach, MS Excel and MS Word.
