Dear Parents:
I have a Bachelor's degree in Science and am working with the Orange County Department of Education. One of my major assignments is to tutor and help students in understanding Math.
According to the California Department of Education, one out of every three high school students failed to graduate or move into another program to continue their education.
You are aware of the fact that it is not possible for the teacher to put enough effort and time, during the classroom teaching, to satisfy the needs of each student for understanding the core subject like Math. Once the student do not understand any subject matter, she/he looses interest in the subject matter. In subject like Math, if one do not understand at one particular level, it will become very difficult to understand the subject in the next level. The next level is continuation of the previous level. For example, if you do not understand a particular subject matter in Math in 3rd grade, it will be impossible to understand the next steps in that subject matter in 4th or 5th grade. And you can imagine your position in 9th or 10th grade.
Therefore, it is very important to understand the subject matter with a good tutor like me, who has a deep understanding of the subject and excellent skill to explain complex matters in very simple way and thereby creating student's interest in subjects like Math.
