I have a passion for photography
and love to work with people. I had the pleasure of teaching photography, digital multi-media, and PC computer
use to classes of middle-school students for 9 years. I'm now enjoying the pleasure of working with the older age group; senior citizens.
When you are as excited and passionate about something, you seek out those with the same interest. To be able to share what I know, to inspire and to be inspired by others is incredibly fulfilling. I am an artists (photographic), consumed with my passion to go beyond what the average person sees; to capture, manipulate, present and share my work with others.
Computers have intrigued me since 1984 - I've built my own ever since that date. They are fascinating - who needs TV? Pretty much anything you want to know, I can show you.
I believe I have an innate ability to connect with people, to be engaged with them. As much as I am, and have been an instructor - I'm a listener. I frequently paraphrase with students to garner the best understanding I can of their question, dilemma, vision.
Goodness, to be a photographic artist and a computer guru; to learn, to teach - that, is my passion.

I'm a professional photographer and truly love the art. I've been teaching others for over 12 years as well, so this was right up my alley.
When I'm given a certain amount of time to show someone how to take the best photographs they can, and this includes camera...
I worked with my first student, Bill, in Adobe Lightroom. Bill got a new digital camera, but had most of his experience in film. So, you might say, we went from a darkroom to Lightroom - and it was a hoot!
Although many concepts are the same between film and digital, the processing tools are completely different. When we got to the 'develop' process in Lightroom Bill just lit up. He couldn't...
