In 1996, I was handed my first Polaroid camera. I began to photograph my dolls and toys. I had also started to create my own sets out of just paper and tiny furniture. Back then, I would have never imagined that photography would become my passion today.
My love for photography finally came through in December 2007, at a Lifehouse concert in Reno, Nevada. I took my Point & Shoot Nikon Coolpix L4 and managed to get one photo that really stood out and it hit me. Soon after, I bought my Olympus E-410 and decided that I was going to pursue both portraiture and concert photography and then created Envy Eighteen Photography in 2009. In 2012, I made the switch to the Nikon D200 and have been amazed ever since. I felt it was about time to move away from my high school camera body and go towards the professional route to seal the deal. ;) I love having a variety of side-use cameras, no matter what brand (in addition, I use Olympus, Canon, and Polaroid cameras).
Today (2013), I find myself expanding my photography as a whole. I've covered a range of styles in portraiture photography (pets and humans) and events. I truly love capturing these moments and unnoticed personalities.
