William, who has a Masters in Teaching, is an imaginative, inspired, hard-working educator. He has worked in the past 5 years as a tutor, science summer camp instructor, and behavioralist with a diverse community of learners that varies not only in abilities, but also in learning styles. He believes that the act and experience of education makes a lasting impression on a students mind, character, and physical ability. He is a coordinator of learning that gives his students the tools that cultivate self-activity and self-discovery, so they feel comfortable in sharing their opinions and ideas with those around them. Allowing a student's natural curiosity to flourish promotes a sense of respect for all things and people. He has helped create a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere where students received an equal opportunity to reach their full potential. His instruction is not only engaging, but it meets the needs of each child.
He is currently working as a substitute teacher for a school district and has worked previously as an after school program supervisor for a middle school. With over 120 students, he has created activities and instruction plans based on S.T.E.M education that are fun and engaging. He also worked for the Napa Safe Routes to School Program where he taught bike safety to elementary students, created material that educated the community, and attended special events to promote the program. During his time at the Safe Routes to School Program, he also maintained and updated the organizations social media profiles, logo, and website.
If you'd like to further discuss how William's skills and expertise might benefit you, please feel free to contact him at any time. He is willing to travel to the following areas: Fairfield, Vacaville, Vallejo, Benicia, Napa, American Canyon, Sana Rosa, and Yountville.
