I am currently a Masters student at Pepperdine. I am finishing a Masters Degree in Education while completing a Teaching Credential. I have always excelled in the areas of Math and Science and am looking to teach in one of those subjects in the near future. I thoroughly enjoy working with students eager to learn. I have spent time as a Student Teacher in both an 8th grade Physical Science class and a high school Biology class. In addition, I spent nearly 4 years as an assistant water polo coach at the high school level.

Additionally, I was a life guard instructor/teacher for the local YMCA. My greatest joy in the classroom comes from helping students "get it". I thrive at finding new ways to explain concepts so that students are able to obtain understanding.

I am very patient and willing to do what it takes to make sure that the student is able to succeed. I strongly believe that students do not need to be given answers instead they need to be taught how to discover them on their own. My schedule is very flexible and I am willing to spend as much time as you may need to reach your academic goals.

Swimming

Over 13 years of swimming experience on the club level with additional experience teaching swim lessons and coaching swimming at the YMCA. I have detailed knowledge about stroke mechanics and numerous drills to help develop your stroke while building strength and speed in the water.

Water Polo

I have competed as a water polo player for 15 years at the club, high school, and division 1 college level. Additionally I have spent almost 4 years as a water polo coach at the high school level. Most recently I have stayed connected to the sport as high school water polo referee. I have help private shooting lessons in the past and love helping players growing their skills and giving them tips that will help them gain an edge in the pool.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
