I love to teach and have taught high school, undergrads and graduate students for more than 10 years.

I believe in having a friendly and enthusiastic interaction with my students. My aim is that they feel the same enthusiasm learning the subjects taught as I do teaching them. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to inspire students to pursue subjects with passion instead of considering it yet another chore to complete.

I understand that every student is different and so their needs may be different and so I work according to their individual needs.

When it comes to tutoring, my aim is that the students understand the basics completely so that they can build upon it by themselves, needing lesser and lesser guidance with time.

I believe that the students need to get correct information and try to answer all questions I may already know. When I am unsure of something, I try to research the topic and get back to the student with the correct information. If the scope of the subject is beyond my realm I try to guide the student to other teachers and resources I know of.

I have had some experience helping people deal with emotions. I would be interested in teaching students who need special assistance as well.

Web Design

I have dual Masters in computer science and am pursuing PhD in the same subject. I have experience working in the field and teaching to graduate level students.

I have been involved in web designing in particular since 2000. My specialization during my undergraduate study was web designing and I was awarded the best project award for my design.

Every now and then, I also build websites particularly for the business I run.

I am a native speaker of Hindi and have formal high school level education in Hindi. I grew up in northern India, where the main language spoken was Hindi. Hindi is one of the languages we speak at home as well.

Logic

I have a double masters degree in computer science and have been in the field since 1997. I am currently pursuing a PhD in computer science. Logic was an integral part of my curriculum in both my graduate studies. My area of specialization during my masters was a research on different schools of logic and how they affect computer science.

I also have more than 7yrs of industry experience in IT where I have used databases. I have taught computer science subjects to both undergraduate and graduate level students.

Apart from having theoretical knowledge of databases like MS Access, I have also extensively used it at work.

Visual Basic

As far as my education goes, I hold a dual masters in computer science and am pursuing a PhD in the same subject.

As far as VB goes, I have used it in many of my projects at work place. My general programming skills are very good and my basics are clear. I also have experience teaching, so teaching visual basic is both easy and fun as far as I am concerned.
