I graduated in June 2012 from UCLA with a Biochemistry major. Before transferring, I was a biochemistry student in Pasadena City College, and earned the associate of science degree in June 2010. During my time in Pasadena City College, I tutored math for 1 year and was certified and awarded the Partnership For Excellence at the ADVANCED LEVEL. Also I was awarded by The National Tutoring Association at the Individual Level--Basic.

I am from mainland CHINA, and moved to California when I was 18. I was enrolled in HUAZHONG UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY with a pre-dental major. I got my US VISA after I was in the university for only one month.

I like chemistry, that is why I chose biochemistry as my major. I want to be a Pharmacist, so I am preparing for the PCAT right now. Hopefully, I will be accepted into Pharmacy school, my dream.

I often go to the gym to work out and swim at night. I am a part-time lab technician in my biology professor's lab. I also volunteer in the lab supervised by a post-doc.
